Apple Crumble

Ingredient

Braeburn apples 400 g
blackberries 120 g
light brown sugar 2 tbsp
lemon zest 1 pc

For Gingerbread Crumble

Ingredient

plain flour 400 g
soften butter 200 g
light brown sugar 100 g
muscavado sugar 100 g
black treacle 1 tbsp
salt 1 tsp

Spice

ground ginger 2 tsp
ground cloves 1 tsp
mixed spice 2 tsp
ground cinnamon 1 tsp

Directions

  • Peel and dice apple

  • Soften slightly the apple with sugar and zest then mix with blackberries

  • Mix all crumble ingredients until crumbly

  • Top the fruit with crumble

  • Bake at 180c for 40 mins

  • Serve with custard and ice-cream
