Ingredient

full fat coconut milk 1 tin 
dark brown sugar 100 g

Spice

cinnamon stick 1 pc
star anise 2 pc
vanilla extract 1 tsp

Finishing

butter 5 g
white miso paste 1 tsp

Directions

  • Simmer coconut milk, sugar and spice over a medium low heat until thickens to deep rich dark color

  • Remove from heat and whisk in butter and miso then strain
