Tzatziki Sauce

For Tzatziki Sauce

Ingredient

full fat yoghurt 500 g
cucumber 250 g
garlic 5 cloves
extra virgin olive oil 2 tbsp
white/red wine vinegar 1 tbsp

Herbs & Seasining

chopped dill 1 handful
chopped mint 1 handful
salt & pepper to taste

Garnish

chopped dill
olive oil

Directions

  • Remove the seeds from the cucumber, grated and squeeze out the juice

  • Minced the garlic and mix with 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil

  • Mix the yoghurt with the cucumber, garlic, vinegar, oil, herb and season to taste

  • Garnish with a drizzle of olive oil and dill

  • 1 pound=16 ounces=453 g ; 1 tablespoon=15 g ; 1 teaspoon=5 g
  • Tzatziki: a creamy cucumber yogurt dip made from yogurt, cucumbers, garlic, and fresh herbs, such as dill or mint
