Ingredient

garlic 2 bulbs
large onions 2 pc
muscavado sugar 150 g
balsamic vinegar 40 ml
sea salt
olive oil

Directions

  • Slice the top off the garlic bulbs drizzle with a little olive oil and wrap in tin foil

  • Roast at 200c for 45-50 mins until tender

  • Finely slice onions

  • Saute and caramelize onions with pinch of salt on low heat 

  • Add garlic, sugar and vinegar cook over a low heat until liquid mostly evaporates

  • Cool in a sterilized jar and store in fridge
