Honey Glazed Roasted Carrots

For Carrot

Ingredient

medium sized carrots  6-8 pc
olive oil
salt

Glaze

butter 15-20 g
ground cumin 1 tsp
chilli flakes 1 tsp
water 1 splash
honey 1-2 tbsp

Garnish

sea salt
chives

Directions

  • Scrub the carrots with a new scourer in cold water

  • Toss the carrots in olive oil and salt 

  • Roast at 200c for 20-25 mins until just fork tender

  • Use the same pan to melt the butter adding the cumin and chilli cook out for 30 seconds 

  • Add a splash of water then the carrot 

  • Toss through until the water evaporates and nicely glazed

  • Add the honey and glaze again

  • Serve with sea salt and chopped chives
